Just like an artist needs a paintbrush, a gardener needs garden supplies to create his or her masterpiece. Although it could cost thousands of dollars to buy all of the garden supplies that you might want, if you budget and prioritize, you are likely to be able to buy all the supplies you need to make your garden look great.
Some of the garden supplies you will need to succeed include:
• Shovels – Take notice that we are talking about shovels and not a shovel. People who just buy one shovel are often disappointed they cannot dig exactly as they need to. For example, if you are sowing the seeds in your garden, you will not want to use the same shovel you use to dig a hole for a tree. Likewise, if to are trying to dig a hole to plant a tree, you will need a larger shovel than the one you use to plant seeds.
• Top soil – Unless your yard has been smiled upon and simply has the most fertile soil you have ever seen, there is a pretty good chance that you will need to buy some soil to use in the garden. There are mixtures of specially created top soil that can be great garden supplies because they help to facilitate quicker growth of plants in your garden.
