Garden decor

If a garden is like a salad, then the garden décor is like the salad dressing. Sure a garden is great, but the garden décor is what really makes the garden area memorable. By thinking outside of the box, you can make your garden more memorable.

One of the first things you should remember is that that anything can be a planter. You can use things like old watering cans, olive oil cans, colanders, nice cups, wheelbarrows, old sinks and other things. What this means is that the sky is the limit when it comes to garden décor. Using common items as part of the garden décor can add to the charm of the garden.

Plats and planters can match each other. This does not mean that these two items need to necessarily be exactly like one another, but it does mean that it might be a good idea to make sure this part of your garden décor is about the same size as the plants. You should not try to put a large plant into a small planter or a small plant into a large planter.
The main rule of thumb to remember when dealing with garden décor is that whichever style of décor you use, it should be something that is true to yourself and something that will accentuate your garden and show off its charm. The main thing to remember is that the garden décor should not overpower the plants that you have in your garden, rather it should accentuate the natural beauty that is already displayed.
